Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service.

Usage Data may include information such as Your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

When You access the Service by or through a mobile device, We may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device You use, Your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of Your mobile device, Your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser You use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

Information Collected while Using the Application

While using Our Application, in order to provide features of Our Application, We may collect, with Your prior permission:

We use this information to provide features of Our Service, to improve and customize Our Service. The information may be uploaded to the Company's servers and/or a Service Provider's server or it may be simply stored on Your device.

You can enable or disable access to this information at any time, through Your Device settings.

Location Information

The Application collects Your device's precise location (GPS) only in the following case, and only after You grant location permission:

School bus trips (drivers): if You are a school bus driver and the school uses bus tracking, Your location is collected while a trip that You started is running, and is shared in real time with the school and with the parents of the students on that route so they can follow the bus. Collection continues while the screen is off during the trip, and stops as soon as You end the trip. No location is collected when no trip is running.

Parents who follow a bus see the bus location only; the Application does not collect their own location for this feature. We do not collect location in the background when no trip is in progress, We do not use location for advertising, and We do not sell it or share it with third parties for their own purposes. You can withdraw location permission at any time in Your Device settings; the bus trip feature will then ask for it again when You use it.

Use of Your Personal Data

To provide and maintain our Service, including to monitor the usage of our Service.
To manage Your Account: to manage Your registration as a user of the Service. The Personal Data You provide can give You access to different functionalities of the Service that are available to You as a registered user.
For the performance of a contract: the development, compliance and undertaking of the purchase contract for the products, items or services You have purchased or of any other contract with Us through the Service.
To contact You: To contact You by email, telephone calls, SMS, or other equivalent forms of electronic communication, such as a mobile application's push notifications regarding updates or informative communications related to the functionalities, products or contracted services, including the security updates, when necessary or reasonable for their implementation.
To send You school communications: announcements, results, attendance and payment notices issued by the school to Your own account. We do not send You marketing or promotional messages.
To manage Your requests: To attend and manage Your requests to Us.
For business transfers: We may use Your information to evaluate or conduct a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which Personal Data held by Us about our Service users is among the assets transferred.
For other purposes: We may use Your information for other purposes, such as data analysis and identifying usage trends, in order to evaluate and improve the Service.

We may share Your personal information in the following situations:

Retention of Your Personal Data

The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

The Company will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of Our Service, or We are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

Business Transactions

Account and Data Deletion

You may ask Us to delete Your account and the personal data held in it at any time, whether or not You still have the Application installed. Open https://yarmouk-school.com/del.html and submit the form there, or send Your request by email to info@yarmouk-school.com. Neither route requires You to install the Application or to sign in.

Deleting Your account removes the account itself and its sign-in credentials, Your name, phone number, email address and profile photo, the in-app messages, notifications and notes attached to the account, and the device identifiers and push notification tokens used to send You notifications.

We may retain academic and financial records that the school is required to keep - for example enrolment, attendance and payment receipts - for the period required by applicable law and school regulations, after which they are deleted. We may also retain aggregated statistics that cannot identify You, and backup copies that are removed on Our normal backup rotation.

We review each request within 7 business days to confirm that it comes from the account holder, complete the deletion within 30 days of the request, and confirm to You once it is done.

Children's Privacy

The Application is used by parents, legal guardians and school staff. Accounts are created for adults only: a child does not register, sign in, or provide information to Us directly, and We do not knowingly allow a child to create an account.

Because this is a school application, a student's information - such as name, class or group, attendance, academic results, fees and photographs taken during school activities - is entered by the school and shown to that student's own parent or legal guardian inside their account. That information is provided to Us by the school as part of operating the school, and We process it only to provide the Service to the school and to the parent or guardian.

We do not use a student's information for advertising, We do not sell it, and We do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. A parent or legal guardian may ask the school at any time to correct a student's information, or may request deletion of their account and data as described in "Account and Data Deletion" above. If You believe a child's information has reached Us without the consent of the school or of the parent or legal guardian, please contact Us and We will remove it.

Our Service may contain links to other websites that are not operated by Us. If You click on a third party link, You will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise You to review the Privacy Policy of every site You visit.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.
